  • Yes. Availability can vary from week to week , but I do my best to accommodate new clients or provide a waitlist option. Contact me to find out about current openings!

  • I provide individual counseling, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, EMDR, and support for ADHD, autism, and PDA profiles. I also integrate the Enneagram as a tool for personal growth when appropriate.

  • No.  At this time I do not accept insurance and would be considered "out of network". However, you may contact your insurance company and inquire if they would reimburse you for services with me, at which point you would be provided a Superbill from OCBH (my office) to submit to them.  Or if you have a health savings account, I can accept that!

  • Yes! I offer secure virtual counseling (phone or video call) to adults across the state of Georgia, making therapy more accessible, flexible, and convenient. I prefer to meet in person for the intake (first) session however. It helps me get a feel for you and you for me as well!

  • $125 per session for Individuals and $150 for couples.   However, I will consider a sliding scale on a case-by-case basis.  Additionally, I offer discounted rates to active-duty military, veterans, and first responders and their families. These Intake appointments are $200 for couples, and $165 for individuals

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a research-backed approach to help people process and heal from trauma, anxiety, and distressing memories. You can learn more here or during a consultation.

  • Yes! I specialize in affirming support for neurodivergent clients, including those with autism, ADHD, AuDHD, or PDA profiles. Therapy is always adapted to suit your unique brain and experience.

  • Yes.  Bethany is trained in Marriage and Family Therapy and can see couples, adults, and family units.  She is also a certified PREPARE/ENRICH facilitator. For more information on any of these, click here to learn more about these services.  

  • Absolutely! Couples counseling is open to all committed partnerships—married or not. It's about improving your connection, communication, and understanding of each other. Your relationship and how you communicate, love, and interact with each other is what is important, not the label for it.

  • Absolutely!  I am an open-minded, and open-hearted counselor who would never dream of discriminating against any population or community.  All are welcome here!

  • No.  As a Licensed professional counselor, I do not have the authority to write prescriptions.  I may however recommend consulting a doctor or psychiatrist about certain medications or treatments. We even have a psychiatrist here in my office, Dr. Barbara D’Orio.

  • Yes, I graduated from the largest Christian university in the world! If incorporating your faith into counseling is important to you, then that is something that I am completely capable of and happy to oblige!

  • That is no problem! I am here for you, and I believe firmly in meeting people where they are with no judgment.  My values will never be pressed upon you. The counseling relationship is about YOU, and helping reach your goals. 

  • Typically 50 minutes unless otherwise scheduled/indicated. I have some clients/couples that prefer an intensive style of therapy (multiple hours) and that is something I can provide if you would like that as well!

  • Absolutely not.  It is not my responsibility or job as the counselor to judge my client.  I am simply there to serve as a guide to help you to your goals.  A good counselor remains objective, and joins you in your journey, providing perspective and insight along the way.

  • Possibly yes.  I may still be able to see you on another day, request a different time by clicking here.  Additionally, scheduling may be more flexible if you are interested in Telemed!
